The 27mm top is lipped around with 2mm thick impact-resistant black PVC banding and the top is laser etched with mm markings for accurate fence positioning. The fence adjusting slots are CNC machined through the table top and lined underneath with a 2mm thick phenolic lozenge-shaped washer for easy adjusting of a fence and prevent wear of the MDF.
